This is about the only woodlands I'd not been in before, I went there last week with Tom and we both took quite a few pictures.. This pathway was not meant to be walked by someone of my height. I was nearly on my knees. More from this walk through out this week.

Your picture makes it look like an enchanted forest.
Awesome picture…I agree with DOT…Enchanting to be sure
This woodlands was once owned by a local mill owners family. The 'Big House' is now a home for the elderly.. a very nice home may I add.
The gardens are not kept as nice as they were once, but we notice work being carried out.
The woods as two pathways with a quaint old bridge joining them. On this day Peter took one path I the other. We both took similar pictures and had a good afternoon there before the rain started. I was surprised that Pete had never been here but it is the other side of the town from where we live. I grew up here as a youngster and spent many a day around this woodland and the house and gardens. It as always been open to the public.
Very lovely view down the damp path. Your photos are great and your dog artwork is fantastic. What a great talent you have!
Looked adventurous. I would be inquistive and wandered there too. :)
Just hear the crunch of the leaves as we walk.
Nice one Pete.
crawling along had its advantages, like the interesting angle of this shot!
Your pictures keep amazing me. I have not seen a bad one yet. Great shot.
I like the photo. It reminds me of the trails in southern Ohio that I used to walk about 45 years ago. I would see how close I could get to deer. I wish I had a camera then like I have now. I could and have been so close that I could see the hair on their face and see their heart beat and things like that. Absolutely amazing experiences. And it wasn't easy and took lots of hard work. I might write about that sometime. I don't know if people would be interested but it was interesting to me at the time.
