I've never seen this before and was pleased to have had the camera with me. On the underside of this mushroom another type of fungi was growing, I took this on Super Macro so you can tell how small and delicate this must be.

Are all of these fungi edible? I like fried mushrooms. And I like Hot Sour Soup from our one Chinese place close by, they put in some sort of a black, almost rubbery type, mushroom strips into the soup. I asked the one waitress what it was and she said oh it's just fungi. Which saying that, made the soup seem to not taste quite as good as it had before she told me.
