Moss

The amount of rain the UK gets, makes it the perfect habitat for mosses

Up close it is like a forest, with its own eco system

I love moss. We use to have some by our walk off the patio going up to the back of the yard, it was called Irish Moss, it was always so green and looked so soft. But it seemed to die out this past summer. I don't think it will revive this coming summer. We had it for quite some time. You moss photo is very nice.

Hello to you all
Old Tom as me typing again while I'm here for something to eat and down load more of my pictures.
Hello Deemom. Thank you for your comment. While I was in the woods I did in fact see a fairy.. I got a great picture of it and I will get Tom to post it tonigh for you.
If was a big fat fairy.
Hello Patty. Say a big Hello to Abraham for me please. I hope you moss grows back for you. When the sun as shone here for long spells the moss dies back and crumbles away to dust. It soon makes a come back when it starts to get damp again.
Imac. Thank you for your visits and your way of posting is very funny at times.
Marvin. Thanks for this and all you visits. You do very good stuff your self.
