This is my first Skywatch and I took this a while back when I was on a walk-about around the Seasides of Lancashire. Gorse flower all year round and I came across one last week covered in flowers which were in turn covered in frost.

Beautiful picture. I don't think I ever seen gorse flowers before. They are very pretty.
Very good the photograph, yellow gives intensity in the picture with result, the clouds produce movement in the eye of spectator, also very good the corner of reception.
Your pictures are super, Peter. I have been looking back at your previous posts, and enjoying them very much. I was born in UK, and have lived in Canada for most of my life, and your lovely pictures make me feel quite homesick!
That picture is stunning. The fungi pictures are also excellent.
Good work!

Excellent photograph. The clouds are magnificent and the color of the flowers is remarkable.
Welcome to Skywatch, Pete. Have been enjoying your pix for a while over at Tom's (lucky you, we don't get served milky coffee when we visit!!) and hope to catch up with your new photos this weekend.
That is a wonderful shot, to say the very least. Thanks for this view.

I have never seen gorse flowers before although I have heard of them. They seem like sunshine on the ground with a beautiful blue sky above!
This is beautiful. Love the flowers and the sunny day.
I have tagged you for New Years resolution. Thought it would also direct people to your blog. Please see my post today and copy and paste. I'm sure Tom will help you.
