H2O



We have plenty of surface water about still, this bottom picture shows a local field that is soaked. That much water as fallen around here it as nowhere to go, it is only a foot or so deep and will slowly disappear but for now it makes a good place to spot ducks.

There are some shots from your part of the world that very much remind me of the terrain here in the Ozark, but I don't think we get as much rain. During this time of year, we have plenty of seeps, springs and small waterfalls. Water standing in the fields would be unusual except briefly after the heaviest of thundershowers, however.

(BTW: Has Tom had a chance to mention the numerous health benefits derived from adding shield bugs to your diet?)
