I'm taking many shoots of this local landmark mill.. it's days are now numbered and is being taken down soon and housing put in its place. Many are sad to see it go, some are more than happy. I grew up with the mill and feel saddened at it's lost.

Awesome Photo Peter

It is sad to see such landmarks go away...

That is a fantastic photo....think I would have to be a little sad to see it go. Even if I was happy for the housing, I know I would be sad to see the end of it.

Sadly, I can identify with not liking to see old things torn down. It seems to be done by big business that has no feeling for nostalgia.

That's what they call progress. It's a shame sometimes. Sky looks like a storm was on it's way.

Yes, progress. I don't like so much progress unless it goes in reverse.
Patty and I will be celebrating 53 years of marriage on July 12th. Think of it as a long-term relationship.

I have invited bloggers to offer suggestions on a gift for me to give Patty and the list would not be complete without your ideas.

what a shame. This is a lovely shot, very clever to do it in B&W, it highlights those rays beaming down on it.

This image as a B& w is so mournful.
